3. Hip Pain Wasn't Really About the Hip
The challenge
After spending many months studying at a desk, an exercise teacher found she could no longer teach without significant hip pain.
She had begun to worry that something was seriously wrong with her hip.
What we discovered
Assessment suggested the problem wasn't the hip itself but the way her pelvis had adapted during long periods of sitting.
The muscles responsible for keeping her pelvis balanced were no longer working together efficiently, placing unnecessary strain through the hip whenever she exercised.
The outcome
Our work focused on restoring balance around the pelvis and helping those muscles begin working together again.
As she stood up after treatment, she immediately noticed the difference. Her movement felt freer, her posture more balanced, and the hip pain that had been limiting her movement had disappeared.

Whether the challenge is showing up in your body, your work or your personal life, help is at hand.
